ABE — AI Writing Coach · research + study design · USC / ICT2024 – present
Study lead on an AI coach that gets students to argue against their own drafts. Ran a mixed-methods pilot — UTAUT survey + thematic coding of open-ended feedback. Findings shaped feature priorities: the Counter-Arguments activity was most valued (43%), and instructional value outweighed ease-of-use in predicting adoption.

Designed survey instruments measuring how confidently students hand work to generative AI (proxy efficacy, self-efficacy, emotional perception); analyzed with regression, ANOVA, and structural equation modeling.
Conversational AI for Children · narrative UX research · U-Michigan2023 – present
Studied how young children co-create stories with an AI partner versus a human one — built the coding scheme, coded transcripts, modeled the differences (multilevel regression). Published at IDC 2025.
